Background Hundreds of stakeholders with one source of truth

As Cabonline scaled, so did the number of people across the business who needed access to trusted data: hundreds of stakeholders.

The goals were to:

  • Get everyone working from the same numbers
  • Let people explore data themselves
  • Free up the analytics team for more strategic work

Rollout Department by department

Cabonline started with Operations and is expanding to other business areas, giving the whole company one governed set of metrics to explore and build on.

Next up is a Business-to-Public contracts product, built in Steep, that tracks school-transport compliance.

“Cabonline runs on scale, ten brands across four Nordic markets, thousands of vehicles, tens of thousands of rides a day. Steep gives us one place to define our metrics once, so the business can explore and build on their own, and our data team can spend more time on the work that actually moves things forward.”
